Creative Compass Georgia è un progetto internazionale di mobilità artistica e cooperazione culturale promosso dalla Fondazione Campania dei Festival nell’ambito del programma Creative Compass Georgia, sostenuto dal Goethe-Institut e da Creative Europe. Il progetto mira a favorire l’incontro tra artisti, attivisti culturali e operatori sociali georgiani e le realtà artistiche e comunitarie attive in Campania, attraverso un programma di residenze immersive dedicate alle pratiche performative partecipative, al teatro sociale e ai processi culturali orientati all’inclusione.
Le residenze si svilupperanno in due fasi nel corso del 2026: una prima sessione durante il Campania Teatro Festival, tra giugno e luglio, e una seconda nell’ambito di Quartieri di Vita, tra ottobre e novembre.
Tra i partecipanti alla prima fase delle residenze vi sarà Khvicha Vashakmadze, artista multidisciplinare originario di Kutaisi, attivo nell’ambito del teatro civico e delle pratiche artistiche partecipative.
Tra i progetti sviluppati nell’ambito delle residenze vi è anche Invisible Work • Invisible Art, ideato da Ina Charkviani, un progetto espositivo e partecipativo dedicato al lavoro invisibile delle lavoratrici domestiche migranti. La mostra è in programma dal 15 al 25 luglio a Sala Assoli.

Creative Compass Georgia is an international mobility and cultural cooperation project promoted by the Fondazione Campania dei Festival within the framework of the Creative Compass Georgia programme, supported by the Goethe-Institut and Creative Europe. The project aims to foster exchange between Georgian artists, cultural activists and social practitioners and the artistic and community-based organizations active in the Campania region through a programme of immersive residencies focused on participatory performing arts, social theatre and inclusion-oriented cultural practices.
The residencies will unfold in two phases throughout 2026: a first session during the Campania Teatro Festival, between June and July, and a second session within the framework of Quartieri di Vita, between October and November.
Among the participants in the first residency cycle is Khvicha Vashakmadze, a multidisciplinary artist from Kutaisi working in the fields of civic theatre and participatory artistic practices.
The residency programme also includes Invisible Work • Invisible Art, conceived by Ina Charkviani, a participatory exhibition project dedicated to the invisible labour of migrant domestic workers. The exhibition will be presented at Sala Assoli from 15 to 25 June 2026.
