The Una favola di Campania project is born from the desire to create an itinerary of cultural events starting from Naples to reach the neighbouring region of Basilicata. An emotive geographical map taking us to wonderful places rich in history, culture and tradition.
As a “common denominator” for these evening events, “Il Decamerone Campano”, a series of 99 stories, fables, legends and fairy-tale, some passed down orally and compiled by scholars and researchers. A series of readings told in simple, archaic language narrating mythological tales of strange personages and surreal events.
8 venues, 16 evenings, 10 stories linked to the region, and told by 11 great storytellers, with an orchestral accompaniment by Musica da Rispostiglio, to evoke the magic of a region full of mystery and fascination.
