Not only is Ben Duke one of this year’s main protagonists for the Festival with Paradise Lost – a rewriting of Milton’s epic poetry – he will also be holding a workshop that reaches out to dancers, actors, professional performers and senior dance students.
«The workshop will be an opportunity to explore our creative processes; the study of movement and motion, considered as instruments uncovering stories and characters. The focus will be on play (as in child’s play) and acting, not just as exercise for inner creativity, but also as a means through which setting up the artwork itself».
