After the Campi Flegrei site lost it’s vocation as industrial area, the idea of establishing a cultural hub has become peremptory. The idea is to create a reference point for citizens, giving the opportunity to learn and appreciate art. The gap or empty space is a symbol of what may be defined as the Third Generation; a reference to the young people that have lost contact with their own roots. It is therefore a “third generation of artists” that has decided to set up the Cantiere Teatrale Flegreo, starting with this staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Michele Schiano Di Cola.
