IN CO-REALIZATION WITH FONDAZIONE CAMPANIA DEI FESTIVAL – NAPOLI TEATRO FESTIVAL ITALIA

After working on Sylvia Plath and Benjamin Britten, Charlotte Rampling and Sonia Wieder-Atherton collaborate to create a new project: a cello suite created from Shakespeare’s sonnets and Bach’s music. The idea is to unite their voices, so that the time required to recite a sonnet is the same as that reserved for music. If the sonnet takes a minute, the notes go after it, determining the rhythm. The result is almost hypnotic.
