The video-footage of Islamic enrolment features some shocking elements, and is told through a visual aesthetic that reaches out to young generations growing up in Europe. Thanks to the documentation obtained by German secret services, Mroué can analyse what the contents reveal on their creators, their appeal and how it allows the Islamist propaganda to indoctrinate the young. Mroué is not only observing the methods and strategies set forth by the Islamists, but also the way in which society deals with the topic of propaganda.
