Vertigo Dance Company inaugurates the seventh edition of the Napoli Teatro Festival Italia in the Arena in Pietrarsa. Following the great success of Null and Birth of the Phoenix presented in 2012 and Vertigo 20 in 2013, this year, the Israeli company presents Reshimo.
A delicate equilibrium of sensual and tribal movement; Noa Wertheim’s latest choreography explores the dichotomy between the infinite and finite through the steps of her eight dancers. By exploring the traces of a primitive universe and inspired by the Kabbalah, her choreography evokes all those passion that constitutes time and space. A boundless and unhindered space is created through harmonious rhythms; a magnetic field hosts a quest for emotions, knowledge and creation. This choreography – built on the music of the company’s historical composer Ran Bagno – embodies the distinctive element of Vertigo’s work: sensuality, energy and precision.
