Eighteen years after his death on 13th December 2003, Naples has finally dedicated a retrospective to Mario Buonoconto. A teacher, a scholar well-versed in ancient traditions and a multi-faceted artist, Buonoconto devoted numerous works to esoteric and symbolic themes, such as the theme of the Sirens, but also to highly topical issues such as the encounter between humans and machines, explored in the series Androids.
