Nautis is a project that represents the meeting point between musicians from different social and geographical backgrounds, each one sharing with the others their own wealth of experience in a journey without stylistic barriers: Arabic maqam, the harmonies of Mitteleuropa, northern European sounds, polyphonic-style counterpoint, jazz improvisation, everything mixed and balanced in an undefined, itinerant location set somewhere between Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
