The most complete and wide-ranging exhibition devoted to the period when Naples was ruled by the Bourbons is being held at the Museum of Capodimonte. The exhibition will illustrate the history of Naples as the capital of the kingdom during the eighteenth century from the reign of Charles of Bourbon to the reign of Ferdinand II. The exhibition encapsulates all the arts and illustrates the multidisciplinary nature of our contemporary era: a multisensory journey within the Bourbon palace, transformed for the occasion into a theatrical show. The exhibition is included in the price of the museum ticket.
Open from Monday to Sunday 8.30 am –7.30 pm, last admission 6.30 pm, closed Wednesday
