Naples, 17th April 1967, the day of the comic actor Totò’s funeral in piazza Mercato. A crowd of people pay their last respects to Antonio de Curtis. A woman screams, pointing at a man behind the coffin. “Yes! It’s him!”. A man cries: “Look over there! Totò is alive, he isn’t dead!”. The man is Dino Valdi, Totò’s double, who is approached by a journalist for an interview about the “Prince of Laughter”, as Totò was known. The show is an interview in which Dino talks about Totò’s life through memories, events and characters from the actor’s life and career.
