A very practical and intensive workshop, aiming at the study of an original creation, starting from the re-elaborated version of the great masterpiece by Dmitrij Shostakovich – Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District – and the homonymous literary work by Russian author Nikolaj Leskov. The project is a theatre work-in-progress site, reaching out to different branches (acting, drama, dance, music, installations), resulting from a research journey started within the Master in Theatre, Pedagogy and Teaching.
