It is night at a piano bar in Quarto Oggiaro, on the northern outskirts of Milan. The evening went smoothly, although the singer did not show up. The young pianist Roberto lingers to smoke a last cigarette. His uncle Ciro, the owner, has just left when a woman breaks into the club. It’s Giusy, who has been singing for Ciro for years. Roberto and Giusy start a close conversation. Slowly the piano-bar, from an ironic cabaret of misunderstandings and misinterpretrations, turns into an intimate place of confessions and unveiling.
