a research-creative journey on waste, scraps and repressions of a community

concept, direction and drama by Davide Iodice

Santa Fede Liberata
from June 8 to July 10

«La Luna is ideally the third stage (or phase) of a research that claims to be anthropological in method, but features poetic finalities. This time, the theme is waste; as in disposable scraps, in the symbolic and poetic meaning of the terms, seen as emotional, poetic and affective discards.
Citizens will be asked to take their personal “waste” in a specific site, that will slowly become a sort of “lyrical landfill”, both a humanity shop and a Wunderkammer.
At the same time, a detailed research will take place, similar to a “door to door” survey or recollection, leading to individual accounts and experiences representing the city».

The waste collection will take place from 7 June until 27 June, every Thursday from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 18.00, at the Hall 203 of the Accademia di Belle Arti.
