Istruzioni per minuta servitù, the winning text of the 50th edition of the Premio Riccione per il Teatro is brought to the Napoli Teatro Festival Italia stage by Enzo Moscato. The plot is a study on the social relations between the weaker and the powerful classes and on the concept of servitude dealt with by dramatists such as Genet, Strindberg, Swift, and the Neapolitans Mastriani, Scarpetta… a constellation of authors that Moscato has depicted in his own text. Written in two levels, one in cultured language and one of the people, the text portrays a double dimension of the gentlemen and the servants who change role continuously. «A highly original mélange between linguistics, emotions and different cultural systems. Different worlds, expressions, geographies and stories which are diametrically opposites and thus, paradoxically comical which bring together the abject/sublime universe of the Servants and the Masters.

[…] a theatrical work which has perhaps more to do with a cockeyed “science of all Poisonings” or the more incautious creation of fireworks with the more orthodox reverence of classical drama».
