The Loser is the first chapter of an ideal trilogy on the arts. The play is set in Salzburg, where three promising musicians decide to attend a class taught by a famous pianist. One of the two is Glenn Gould, whose undeniable talent will change the life of another character, Wertheimer. Crushed by Gould, after a long descent into the underworld of envy and insecurity, he hangs himself. The play unfolds like a cruel theorem revolving around a question: to what extent are we responsible for our failures?
