Elena Bucci is actress and director. Her workshop is addressed to actors and beginners. The course lasts 10 days and will end with a public rehearsal. Elena Bucci has been inspired by the topic of the sea that recalls infinite pictures, among which the shipwreck.
As Elena Bucci tells us the setting is: «the myth of Ulysses and the Odissey. It brings to mind many other shipwrecks and stranding take place, both real and imagined. Shipwreck means also loss and renewal. It asks us to confront ourselves with our proper strength and basic needs. Perhaps, the topic above bridges the gap between different cultures and languages. What would we bring with us if we had to leave the ship where we have always been on? How would we set the new life in a new land?».
