Two couples of the Parisienne bourgeoisie, a sister of one of the two women with a habit of drinking, together with a diplomat from Miranda; an imaginary banana republic ensemble seeking to
arrange a dinner that, for various reasons, just won’t happen: first there is a misunderstanding on the day of the invitation, then there is a funeral wake for the owner in his restaurant and, finally, there are army soldiers running about the gardens of the landlords.
