Mario Scandale brings on stage Jo Lattari’s text Il dolore di pri- ma. The protagonist is a family like many others in the Italian province: a mother, a father and three children. The second daughter, the only one who abandoned the family and moved to another city, is forced to return home. «I suppose, in fact, that the return of Daughter home is not a real return. Daughter has not yet got up from that sofa – writes Scandale. She is stuck because the pain of before cannot be of before. The pain remains, at best it fades over time».
