Bangladesh ranks fourth in the world for early marriages rate and second for the number of child brides: this reflects extremely rooted patriarchal social norms as well as a gender inequality that sees girls inferior to their male peers . The photographic exhibition curated by Romeo Civilli reminds us that, despite the Child Marriage Restraint Act approved only in 2017, this practice is still being perpetrated against many women of tomorrow.
