By avoiding showing morbid curiosity about drug-related deeds and misdeeds, Father and Son explores the relationship -whether real or fictional does not matter – of a fragile and ingenious father with his son. Their relationship is full of misunderstandings and fears, but also of love for life and music which, in the end, boil down to the same thing. In the story the narrating voice intertwines with the notes of Chet Baker’s music. The show is the first part of a work called Racconti in jazz (Stories told though jazz).
