Following upon the research started ten years ago on Elizabethan Theatre, Laura Angiulli has chosen for this edition to stage Christopher Marlowe’s Edward II.
«The idea is that of a project based on two levels of narration; in one case it looks in detail at the various portions of the play, in the other at a more consistent representation of the drama, not fit for street performance but requiring the silenced atmosphere of a theatre. Both levels of interpretation will give audiences the opportunity to take part in something unusual and truly fascinating at the same time».
