Benedetta Palmieri is using her hans and feet! Their movements, attitude, and their controversial sensing offers a surrealistic point-of-view. The body is confessing itself. The feet with their steps – real and idealistic – describe the distance, the anxiety, the pain. While the hands hold, keep, bear and juggle. They describe, hence, an entire universe of signs that Palmieri shapes into a theatre drama with special monologues. Man’s body, or that of the athlete, speaks up and is training to find a new balance.
