The show comes about after nine years of researches, meetings and shared experiences with artists, actors and singers. The protagonist is “Il femminiello” (a transvestite) in his multitasking state of actor / singer / tombola player and presenter / tammorra dancer / poet. The show is in line with a folkloristic form of representation that has pre-Christian origins; one that has saved its genuine essence throughout the centuries, without ever giving up the concept of “double”.
