The project linked to Banda MVM (Mamma Vita Mia) draws inspiration from one of the most important works of Marco Zurzolo – Ex-Voto – which originated from his research into the popular music that accompanies the rite of the Madonna dell’Arco. The Banda broadens their horizons with a journey that begins from Zurzolo’s birthplace: Bagnoli, or rather Balneolis, a spa resort of great beauty and a thriving artistic scene which over time has been spoiled by the outrageous actions of humankind. The journey terminates on the slopes of Vesuvius with the sole objective of crossing the city to give it back dignity through art and music.
