The premiere of Amen, the first play by the psychoanalyst Massimo Recalcati, is presented by the author himself, with a selection of passages in the form of a concert. “During the first lockdown.” explains Recalcati, “I started to write a text. While I was writing we were surrounded by death. As the great painter Rothko would say, when you do art either you talk about life and death, or it is better not to do it at all. Amen is the word that consecrates the possibility that life can exist even when death is present, that death cannot have the final say over life”.
