«Abrégé d’Histoire Figurative is an “expo-installation” by Domenico Mennillo dealing with three specific concepts of reference: spiritual anatomy, the atlas and the Wunderkammer. These starting elements are in connection with the modern Western philosophy and culture, and lead to the creation of a compendium (Abrégé) of visual and poetic representation (Histoire Figurative).
The three sections of the project are thus positioned one next to the other, in three distinct “rooms of thought” (connected to one another); a route for the audience, going through sounds, lights and odours chosen specifically for each room».
On June 16th, 28th and 8th there are three guided tours organized by the artist, starting at 5pm.
