Heptathlon is an all female competition of outdoor athletics. The participating athletes face-off on seven different competitions, among which are running and throwing. The final rank is a result of the different scores and difficulty co-efficients. It was following these premises that the installation Eptathlon was conceived: it considers the body-condition of seven women, that in one way or the other deal with sports. Great heights and winning paths, on the look-out for the true essence of motion, and the relations between psyche and body. Seven rooms that are seven gyms, but also
seven inner temples. Within them, it is possible to grasp a thought: sports is really a state of mind.
