When encountering art and theatre, humans are gripped by a fundamental truth. In ancient Greece, the theatre was located between the temple and the agora. A vertical line joined the sublime to the vulgar. This is the artist’s role: to act as a conduit to eternity. Do we have to silence this voice or let it invade our being? In this show an actress denounces the State for violent abandonment and plays her last role by making a prophecy: the disappearance of the voice of art.
