Lia Pasqualino is a leading figure in Italian contemporary photography. Born in Palermo, she has experimented with photo journalism, portrait and scene photography during her career. The exhibition explores the variety of her gaze whereby the documentation of complex and fascinating arts such as theatre and cinema are combined with a rigorous approach to photographic technique. The exhibition includes 97 works and the volume that accompanies it, published by Postcart, includes texts by Roberto Andò, Giovanna Calvenzi, Salvatore Silvano Nigro, Lia Pasqualino and Ferdinando Scianna.
