It is the year 1923. An unusual looking young man arrives the Residencia de Estudiantes, a famous students’ residence in Madrid. He is an eighteen-year-old painter. His name is Salvador Dalí. He attracts the attention of a poet who is a little older than him and very popular at the Residencia: Federico Garcia Lorca. It is hard to define the relationship between the two artists. When they left the college, they began a correspondence which would last until the poet’s execution. Their last meeting, their last dance, marks the end of a friendship, possibly love, definitely the end of a life.
