Pescatori: first of all language, sharp as a stone. Here the violence of the Neapolitan language treated with wisdom -not dialect because it is not – lives on the lips of characters freed from any stereotype of the conventional representation of the Neapolitan genre. The plot is essential and incisive, it brings to its extreme consequences and recalls the great classical tragedy in the clarity and schematic nature of the events. It is the theater of the origins, it is a reference to myth; the feelings are primordial, the characters are sketched with the hatchet, the actions that take place are extreme.
