For the ancient Egyptians the word Nefer synthesized the concept of beauty and perfection. An ideal that in the graphic remodulation of the hieroglyph is translated into the sign of a trachea and a heart, thus suggesting the rhythmic harmony between breath and heartbeat as the ideal symptom of perfection.
SportOpera 2020 searches theatrically in the moments in which sport senses synthesis, getting so close to attaining it or failing in doing so, and senses those moments of time when the breath and the beat allow new perceptions of the world and in when it is possible to decide whether to dare or give up.
