With Polvere ritorneremo the young Neapolitan playwright Claudio Buono drags us into a lively and sarcastic story, having the breath of a great fictional saga, «a river full of ironies, puns and maliciousness» to use the words of the director Roberto Nicorelli.
At the funeral of Viridiana Terranova, leader of the popular musical group Shangri-La, Dalia and Ludovica, the other two components of the group, respectively daughter and sister of the deceased, quarrel violently. They are, in fact, separated by hatred and old grudges and comforted only by the knowledge that with Viridiana’s death, the sole director of the properties of the band, they will finally be able not to see each other anymore: they will disband the group and will benefit from the accumulated assets. The moment of the reading of the last will reserves them a nasty surprise… An irreverent performance so that Nicorelli himself states that «the protagonists of Polvere ritorneremo are not that far away from us and those around us, but I suggest to the spectators not to follow their morals».
