Cristina Donadio and Lalla Esposito give their voice to two protagonists of the 1900s, Marilyn Monroe and Mia Martini, four Ms unite two women apparently distant from each other and yet united in their tragic demise. Words, music and dance tell the tale of their solitude, their melancholy, two souls defeated and crushed by an incomprehensible mystery but, that did not stop them from becoming memorable. This new production is the latest phase of an ongoing project by two extraordinary artists, and to whom Donadio dedicated his previous performance Suite per anime farfalla.
For this latest project Marco Zurzolo has prepared a soundtrack inspired by the diary and that music which became famous after being interpreted by Marilyn Monroe in parallel with those heartrending songs which Mia Martini also made into successes. The soul of Marilyn will dance her own “butterfly suite” on steps created by Susanna Sastro, and based on an idea by Laura Valente.
