The film tells the story of Mahmoud Darwish a Palestinian poet who is among the most influential poets of the Arab world. His works gave shape to
his identity and contributed to encourage different generations. Mahmoud Darwish was born in Galilee, his family escaped from their country in 1948 during the Arab-Israeli war. When they came back, they found a devastated Country. As Palestinian living in Israel, he was raised under a military education that prohibited him to freely leave the Country. All these experiences can be considered as the basis of his literary career which will embody the wishes of an entire Nation.
Through his poetry, briefs and exclusive repertory materials, the history of the man who became the spokesman of his world surfaces.
