The choreographer Nidal Abdo writes: «They are always there… without being there. “There” is Syria. The country I was born and raised in, but that I don’t feel totally mine. A country that, during the last 6 years has been torn apart and that, like many of us, is drifting away». Rather than a first creation this show may be considered a catharsis. The audience is invited to witness a hectic run towards a past that is no longer there. A beloved and yet hated past, presented in dance form by four Syrian-Palestinian dancers.
