by the Jan Fabre Teaching Group
with Annabelle Chambon and Cédric Charron
Sala Assoli
from June 7 to 11
Following upon the heritage of Stanislavski, Meyerhold and Grotowski, Jan Fabre has come up with some peculiar exercises during his career. Ones that prepare his performers before going on stage. They are “guidelines for the artist performer of the twenty-first century”, and have become a core element of his teachings, finding the right implementation in his plays.
During the past years Fabre has worked and prepared some of his most trustworthy performers – Cédric Charron, Annabelle Chambon, Ivana Jozic, Kasper Vandenberghe and Marina Kaptijn – to teach and pass on his “guidelines”.
