«Borrowing a portion of a famous title – writes Elena Bucci – I gave the project the name Onde (“waves”), with reference to the dynamic but constant amusement that the works of Virginia Woolf and Katherine Mansfield convey. They are both capable of going beyond standard observations and can light up with their descriptions the nature of everyday things. Onde is a musical drama somewhere in between improvisation, writing, singing and spoken words; a juggling plot presenting visions and perceptions of a world that is much too confident in it’s set of rules. It is a window that suddenly opens on a summer day; inside, is an empty room, but not a sad one… just distant, where far away voices begin to resonate».
