Enrico Maria Lamanna will stage a text by Joan Didion, described in his director’s notes as follows: «A woman, a chair, memories… a dead husband at the table. She is a playwright that finds herself telling a story, her own. A daughter in coma. To keep her company, she has her husband’s shoes, for when he will finally return, because he will return just like the Indian legend said he would. I go back to working with one of my past ‘obsessive’ actresses, Rosaria De Cicco to whom I wish to dedicate this adventure. With her, this emotional journey has been like a lover’s first night».
