Il Potere (‘Power’) by Michele Santeramo is the third piece of this fascinating mosaic entitled Storie dal Decamerone. An across-the-board project dealing with a successive adaptation of Giovanni Boccaccio’s greatest work, with reference to current times. Santeramo writes: «Someone very powerful is taking decisions on which the lives and deaths of other people depend on. This is what true power is; to be in charge of life. He, however, at one point finds himself in front of a clean and beautiful face and is forced to make decisions that bring grief to his soul. In the Decamerone, he will find his healing».
